About DSA
In 1957, a group of parents came together to create employment opportunities for their children with disability. From these humble beginnings supporting a handful of young people from rented premises in Camperdown, we have become the DSA Group, a dynamic organisation with a range of services providing supports for over 1500 people with disability.
We are committed to providing contemporary, innovative services that promote choice and
self determination for the people we serve. We recognise that not everyone’s journey is the
same, that our participants’ needs can, and do change for a whole range of reasons.
We celebrate when we see firsthand the difference the right supports can make in a person’s life. We celebrate improved health and wellbeing, involvement in new social activities, new interests in the community and a real sense of belonging and connection to family and friends, housemates and workmates.
To ensure we can offer individualised, personalised support and meet the needs of our community, we continuously develop our services combining participant input with evidence informed approaches.
Our employees service areas across Metropolitan Sydney, north to the Hunter and Tamworth,
across to the Central West, and down to the Southern Highlands and Southern Ranges.
